Newsreal 2025 is my attempt at radio show / podcast continuing the tradition of newsreal.

The orignal Newsreal was hosted by Sean Kennedy from 2005-2011 - And if you're looking for (great) entertainment value as well as interesting conversation I won't dissuade you - I've listened a hundred or so shows, and know way too much about 2005 events heh :D

Afterwards the show was picked up serval times by fans, twenty episodes were recorded by Ryan Robson and Misanthropic_gods, eight episodes recorded by -R_ in his Newsreal X, 72 episodes from 2014-2017, recorded by Maltose and Gatekeeper. I think there has been some Newsreal recorded 2020-2024 but nothing substanital as far as i know.

This show (As well as the associated Rantmedia projects) have had a big impact in my life and values which is why for quite some time I've been wanting to pick up this show myself, reaons being (Part of is just to be able to say that I'm at least doing something for the world heh :D) for the sake of being aware of current events and to know where to put my engery into myself.

If theres anything that I want to get across is that this show has had a lot of influence on poeple, And for me its always a shame that there hasn't been a current incarceration to be able to listen to! So thats what this an attempt at :D
